8DRIFT is a free drift game that runs in your browser. No download, no account, no installer. You slide a pixel-art city called Northgate, get paid for the angle you hold, spend it on cars, and stand around talking to whoever else turned up.

Speed first. Turn into the corner, then tap the handbrake to break the back end loose. The moment it steps out, come off the handbrake — holding it just makes you slide straight.
From there it is throttle and opposite lock. Feed in enough power to keep the rear spinning, and steer slightly into the slide to stop it snapping round. The angle is what pays: the longer you hold it without straightening up or hitting something, the higher the combo multiplier climbs, and the multiplier is worth far more than the individual points.
Straighten out or crash and the combo banks — so on a long road, link one corner into the next instead of resetting between them.
Rear-wheel-drive cars with a bit of power slide more willingly than the cheap front-drive boxes. Worn tyres break traction sooner, which helps the slide start and hurts everywhere else. The skid pad at the tuner is free and has nothing to hit, which is the place to learn a new car.
Drifting pays. So do pizza runs, car shows, street takeovers and the daily jobs. You can also buy shops that quietly pay you while you are online, and the casino will happily take the lot back.
Seven dealers cover everything from a 150◈ shitbox to a 75,000◈ exotic. Every car can be painted, given a livery, tuned through engine, suspension, brakes and aero, and fitted with neon and coloured headlights. Tune it on the skid pad before you commit to anything.
Get out with F and the town opens up: clothes, spray cans, horns, name colours, pizza, a cold one, and the police if you push it.
Everyone lands in the same community meet, so you do not have to arrange anything — press DRIVE ONLINE and you are in it. Talk to the room with ENTER, shout to people near you with Y, get in someone's passenger seat, honk melodies at them.
If you want a meet just for your friends, open Settings › Online and make your own room. That gives you an invite link that drops anyone straight into your world.
Get some speed, turn into the corner, then tap the handbrake with SPACE to break traction. Once the back steps out, come off the handbrake and hold the slide with the throttle and a little opposite lock. The longer you hold the angle without straightening or hitting anything, the higher the combo multiplier climbs — and the combo is what pays.
WASD or the arrow keys drive, SPACE is the handbrake, and F gets you in and out of the car. ENTER opens chat and Y shouts to people nearby. O is lights, C is the horn, Z is neon, R is hazards, Q and E are indicators, V revs, L is the light show, U is the radio and P opens the town map. On a phone everything is on screen.

Yes. Your car, coins and everything you have bought save to your device automatically. If you want that save to follow you to another device, add a name and PIN in Settings › Cloud.
The car does not stop dead — it drops to a crawl on the fumes, so you can limp to a pump if one is close. Otherwise get out and walk to a gas station for a jerry can. The dash warns you as soon as the gauge drops its first bar.
